For the first time, Halifax Harriers are hosting a leg of the FRA Junior English and Welsh Championships. Set in and around the stunning Ogden Water Local Nature Reserve, there will be three races. Registration is at the Ogden Water Classroom from 9 a.m.. Toilet facilities are adjacent. (Marked J on the Event Map) The Visitor Centre shop will be open serving drinks, crisps etc Parking £5. U10s parking is the top tier of the Ogden Water car park (Marked I on the Event Map) U12s and U14s parking is in the field behind the Causeway Foot Inn (Marked K on Event Map) U16, U18 and U20 parking is in a field on the corner of the A629 Keighley Rd and Syke Lane (Marked L on the Event Map).

A short climb up Withins New Road, into the Narnia woods (Marked B on the Event Map), dancing through the tree roots, hopping a ditch, a downhill dash, then a climb back up to Withins New Road before a grassy moorland sprint to the finish. |

An out and back route up through woodland and up onto Ovenden Moor along the top of the lovely Skirden Clough. U12s turn round half way up the clough (Marked C on the Event Map). U14s turn round at the top (Marked D on the Event Map). |
| 11.45 U16/U18/U20 Boys & Girls 5km/8km |
A run up through the woodland and onto Ovenden Moor. U16s run one loop of the moor past the wind turbines, U18 and U20 run two loops, before taking the route back down through the woodland to the finish. Steep and technical sections so good studded grip essential, especially if wet. |
