The 40th Calderdale Way Relay 18th May 2025

Kindly supported by Rosehill Polymers Group.                                                                                 This year is the 40th Calderdale Way Relay.   Britain's biggest off road relay event.  The race starts at Clay House in West Vale and finishes at the Halifax Harriers HQ at Spring Hall.  Please find below all the details for entry into the 40th Calderdale Way Relay.  Online entries only. This year, there is an Early Bird price from 1st December 2024 of £120 per team (only £10 per runner).  This will increase to £132 per team from 1st February 2025 (£11 per runner) and £144 from 1st April 2025 (£12 per runner).   On receipt of your payment your team(s) will be allocated to the event. In the event of the Relay being cancelled, for reasons beyond the organisers control and it cannot be re-staged, or if your team is unable to take part, no refund of entry fees will be applicable. NOTE:-  It is not necessary to provide the names of your team members at this stage. The minimum age for runners is 18 years on the day of the race, with the exception of Leg 3 runners, where the minimum age is 16 years and over.  Veteran categories start at over 40 for both males and females.  The race is licenced by the FRA and will be run under FRA rules. We encourage all participants to join the FRA.  You must ensure that all team members run in club/team colours. *KIT REQUIREMENTS* Full kit will remain mandatory on legs 1, 2 and 4.  For legs 3, 5 and 6, kit will be weather dependant and at the discretion of the race director. THE STRICT LIMIT THIS YEAR IS 100 TEAMS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.  THE CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE 11th MAY 2025 (or when the 100 team limit is reached, whichever is soonest). We would like to encourage clubs/teams from further afield, so we have a free camp field at the Causeway Foot Inn for those that need to stay over. Please let us know if you wish to camp.
